We are trying to find out how to appraise a 1966/ Dodge 116 pickup, slant 6, 3speed, runs, and has a clutch problem, good condition, and interior is fine. Body is good too.
The NADA Book Value for this Truck in the Antique truck section are as follows
Low Retail 3,263
Average Retail 6,750
High Retail 11,115
With the problems–Clutch-3speed Transmission VS Automatic–Slant 6 Vs V-8. I would say the above values are way to High. If it were me I wouldnt pay anymore for it than I Had too- I think 600.00-800.00 would be a Big Price for this truck!!!!
i know how to well and did it as a hobby when i was a kid.
Can i make a good lving off of restoring old muscle cars and selling them to wealthy people?
what cars would command high money?
Yes, you can/could.
They will ALL command high money but the years people want most will command the most, but I don’t think that is the concern, necessarily
Anything that is nostalgic, which is a BIG field. Anything 50s 60s, before and after that, including muscle cars to customs–mild to wild, ratrods, nice big V-8s in T roadsters.
Man the list goes on and on!!
Look on the internet google.com for one. Lots of junkers that are just sitting around all over the nation, though I would think locally would be the way to go for buying what you need.
The internet is/has been categorized as well. ‘Junker muscle cars’ and whatever other category you can think to look for.
I saw one site a long time ago, ‘junkers in barns’. That included muscle cars and old Cadillac ‘verts as well as many others.
We have a shop here in town that does just what you’re referring to and in the back of the shop is another guy, they split the rent, that does upholstery and ‘vert tops and weather seal.
Your business will just naturally attract those with money, but you’ll also be attracting the GEARHEADS and TRANNYBUSTERS as well, so you BETTER know you’re stuff, if you come off like a dummy, you probably won’t make the sale!!
Walk the walk AND talk the talk!!
where can i find a website with those informations.
like the media,translations, blog entries,etc….
oh and fansites
they are a japanese band.
thanks

I need help with organizing a benefit Antique Car, Truck & Bike show to benefit a local charity. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Set a date and secure a location. If it’s a public place, like a park or school stadium parking lot, you will still need to get permission to use it. Contact the city parks & recreation department about a park, or the school itself about using their grounds.
Determine the cost of participation. Will there be an entry fee? Will you be providing a meal? If so, will that cost be included in the entry fee? Will t-shirts be included? Does your venue charge you for the use of their space? How many people do you expect to participate? How much money do you hope to raise?
Get the word out!!! Get a mailing list from the charity you’re benefiting. Send flyers to their supporters. Get a mailing list (if possible) from any antique auto clubs in your greater vicinity. Send them word, too. If you can’t get mailing lists, ask to have your info put into their newsletters or on their websites — or ask to have your info given out at their meetings. Post flyers in all the grocery stores and churches and libraries and schools and other such places that will let you do so.
Ask an official from an antique car club what categories you should have for prizes, how you should display the vehicles, and so on.
There. That should help get you started. You’ve probably already done most of this, or at least thought it through. You can take it from there to come up with the rest of what you should do, I’m sure.
Or a good site to get advice, quotes, reccomendations ect on Antique cars? Especially if the focus was on International Scouts. Thnks!
Try this site they have alot of scouts, just follow this link and good luck…..

I have seen this previously on eBay , but it is now unavailable. It is like a typical plastic medium size dog bed that is made out of either clear plastic or acrylic, instead of the normal opaque ones.
try pets at home

I am 17 and I am thinking of buying an old grain truck to use for farming. I am curious what it would cost to insure a truck. I don’t need nothing fancy, I just want to put a tag on it.
You have to call for quotes.
